The TPO Foundation and the University Gender Resource Center (UNIGERC) are pleased to announce the Student Conference on Gender and Gender Equality in Cyberspace. This two-day interdisciplinary event provides a unique opportunity for male and female students to exchange ideas, research and experiences on how the digital world shapes, reflects and challenges gender relations. The conference will be held on November 29 and 30, 2024 at the Hotel Holiday Sarajevo. The main theme of the conference, “Gender and Gender Equality in Cyberspace”, explores the interrelationship between gender and technology.

Thirteen students will present their works on topics such as gender-based violence through the media, media coverage of cases of femicide, obstacles in the study of STEM sciences, etc.

In addition to the student presentation, key note speakers will also speak at the conference:

dr. Jelena Guga from the Institute of Philosophy and Social Theory UNBG,

Slađana Jeremić, program coordinator and head of the Knowledge Production section at the Center for Women’s Studies Belgrade,

Medina Mujić, representative of the Public Relations Agency SmartPR,
