Police officers of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) of Canton 10 participated in the training “Police Investigation and Procedures in Cases of Domestic Violence,” organized by the TPO Foundation in cooperation with the Canton 10 MoI. This highly significant training was conducted as part of the TPO Foundation’s UNIGEM project.

It is particularly important that it was attended primarily by young police officers, who gained additional knowledge as well as expert advice and guidelines on conducting police investigations and handling cases of domestic violence.

The training, attended by more than 70 Canton 10 MoI’s police officers was delivered by academician Professor Nedžad Korajlić Ph.D., Professor Armin Kržalić Ph.D. and Ms. Atina Perković, M.A.

The new knowledge will undoubtedly benefit police officers in the municipalities of Canton 10, especially given the practical nature of the work in a highly sensitive area such as domestic violence.
