The three partner universities of the UNIGEM project held meetings last week to review the activities completed so far and discuss future plans.
On December 19, 2024, the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory (IFDT) of the University of Belgrade (UNBG) held an online meeting with the members of the Gender Equality Committee of UNBG. Four members of the Committee attended, two from the Rectorate’s professional services and two from organizational units of the University. The meeting presented the achievements of the UNIGEM project this year and plans for the upcoming months. An important update is that the new annual action plan (for the period up to 2028) is currently in process and is expected to be approved soon by the UNBG Senate.
On December 21, a meeting was also held at the University of Herzegovina, where the achievements of the UNIGEM project so far were presented, as well as the plans for further activities aimed at the implementation of the project.
On December 24, at the Rectorate of the University of East Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Sandra Ivanović briefed the University leadership, professional services, editorial staff, and other personnel on the activities and results of the UNIGEM project over the past three years. Discussions also focused on the completed activities of the University of East Sarajevo’s Gender Action Plan (GAP) and the planned future activities for preparing a new plan.
