The University of Sarajevo marked the global campaign “16 days of activism against gender-based violence” again this year. Workshops on unconscious bias, violence against women in the family and violence against women prisoners were held for the student group.
The Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Political Sciences held a workshop on the topic “Violence against women and domestic violence – Court practice of the European Convention on Human Rights – ECHR (judgment analysis)”. The workshop was led by prof. Sarina Bakić, PhD, and Prof. Amila Ždralović, PhD. The lecture “Structural and institutional violence against female prisoners – lessons from the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina” was held at the Faculty of Philosophy. The lecture was led by prof. Amila Kasumović, PhD, and Prof. Ajla Demiragić, PhD. The last workshop was held at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education on the topic “Unconscious bias in sports”, and was led by: prof. Lejla Šebić, PhD, (FASTO UNSA), Prof. Jasna Kovačević, PhD (EFSA UNSA) and Prof. Munir Talović, PhD (FASTO UNSA). The moderator of the workshop was Šemso Ormanović, Ph.D. (FASTO UNSA).
