The panel titled ‘Feminist Methodological Challenges in Research’ was held on Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies of the University of Sarajevo. It was organized within the UNIGEM project by the University Gender Resource Centre (UNIGeRC) of the University of Sarajevo and the TPO Foundation.

The panelists were Prof. Dr. Ajla Demiragić (Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Jasmina Husanović Pehar (Faculty of Philosophy, University of Tuzla) and Prof. Dr. Amila Ždralović (Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo), and the moderator was Prof. Dr. Jasna Kovačević (Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo).

In their short, introductory addresses, the panellists singled out the challenges of research, principles of feminist epistemology, and steps towards improving research methods and methodological approaches. They pointed out that it is important to build a community of knowledge in a democratic environment with participatory approaches and knowledge production policies.
