A legal framework is an important precondition for achieving gender equality in higher education. Therefore, a new law on higher education of Sarajevo Canton (Kanton Sarajevo / KS) plans to include a gender perspective. As a part of the activities of the UNSA Council for Gender Equality and the University Gender Resource Center (UNIGeRC), on May 30th, educations for non-teaching staff titled “Gender Mainstreaming Policies at the Organizational Units of the University of Sarajevo” began, during which the basics of the concept of gender-based violence and discrimination, and sexual harassment will be presented.
